Communications Intern

The KASE Project is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic candidate to fill the position of Communications Intern/Volunteer. This position will assist with marketing and communications efforts of the organization and will work closely with the Executive Director on various projects. 

Qualifications:

  • Firm grasp of social media tools and platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc. 

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-starter, good time management, creative, with ability to communicate in a professional manner  

  • Ability to work well independently, and within a team 

  • Proficiency in Google platforms (Documents, Sheets, etc.)

  • General knowledge of Canva software

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, writing and managing e-blasts and e-newsletters.  

  • Design event/program fliers, graphics and other marketing material  

  • Provide input for creative marketing strategies and social media campaigns   

  • Collaborate with team on new ideas, directions, and tools for marketing and communications 

Commitment:

Up to 10 hours per week based on availability and project need

Compensation:

This is an unpaid, minimum time position. Students may earn course credit for hours worked based on their institution requirements.
